HOMESICK

 UNDAMAGED is Lee Newton’s first CD release. It was released in 2021, and won a Josie Award for EP Album of the Year in that same year. UNDAMAGED is a four song EP, with all of the songs being written or co-written by Lee Newton. UNDAMAGED was recorded at Omnisound Studio in Nashville, and was produced by Bill McDermott. 

UNLEESHED is Lee Newton’s second CD release. It was released in 2002, and won a Josie Award for Album of the Year in that same year. UNLEESHED has a total of thirteen tracks, including a very special recording of Lee and her father, when she was only nine years old. Nine of the songs on this CD were written or co-written by Lee Newton. One of the stand out tracks on UNLEESHED is a great rendition of Merle Haggard’s Working Man Blues, but with a female twist as Working Girl Blues. Working Girl Blues was written by Merle Haggard and Leona Williams. Leona, along with Pam Tillis and Lee Roy Parnell join Lee on this unforgettable track. UNLEESHED was recorded at Omnisound Studio in Nashville, and was produced by Bill McDermott.

 From The Heart is Lee Newton’s third CD release. This CD is a collection of some of Lee’s favorite cover songs. There are 13 tracks on the CD. 

 Crossroads is Lee Newton’s fourth CD release, and her first Gospel CD. This CD is a collection of some of Lee’s favorite Gospel hymns, that she loved as a child growing up in North Carolina, as well as a few newer Gospel songs that touch Lee’s heart. Lee invited some of her musical friends to join her in these songs of faith, and she even has her son, Cash Newton, singing an all time childhood favorite.
